TECHNOLOGY
The QUAD-PRO™ NPI Bi-Polar Ionizer is a needlepoint bi-polar ionization device that creates large amounts of positive and negative ions. These ions work continuously on airborne pollutants to improve indoor air quality in commercial spaces. The system uses a unique “Venturi Emission” design with real tungsten needles. This setup optimizes ion output to help control airborne particles, microorganisms, and some odors and gases. Unlike many compact competitor products that use only 2 posts, the Respicaire QUAD-PRO™ features 4 ion emission posts for greater output. Bi-polar ionization works through a process called agglomeration. Positive and negative ions attach to airborne pollutants and cluster them into larger masses. These larger particles then fall out of the airstream or get captured more easily by your filtration system. The QUAD-PRO™ is designed for installation inside small RTUs (rooftop units) and AHUs (air handling units).
