The Respicaire DTX-MB™ air purifier utilizes advanced tri-process air purification technology that combines three distinct methods to detoxify indoor air. The system features dual high-output UVC twin tube lamps operating at 254 nm wavelength, delivering twice the germicidal power of standard single lamps.  The first stage employs powerful germicidal UVC light to inactivate and reduce airborne pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and molds, while simultaneously providing surface treatment for HVAC coils. The second stage incorporates activated carbon matrix cells that effectively absorb airborne odors and gases as air passes through the system. The third purification stage utilizes a PCO (Photo-Catalytic Oxidation) to oxidize volatile organic compounds (VOCs).  This unique combination of UVGI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation), carbon absorption, and photocatalytic oxidation creates a comprehensive air treatment system. The magnet mount unit features remote ballasts with watertight cord connectors for reliable internal installation, and operates continuously as air circulates through your central heating and cooling system.

MAINTENANCE

The DTX-MB™ requires simple, periodic maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Annual lamp replacement is essential to maintain effective coil purification and catalytic processes for proper air cleaning. Carbon matrix cells and PCO media is recommended for periodic inspection and can be replaced based on usage and air quality conditions All replacement parts, including genuine OEM lamps and components, are readily available through Respicaire’s network of stocking HVAC distributors and contractors. Contact Respicaire support if assistance is needed in locating original replacement parts locally. Respicaire does not sell online and using 3rd party lamps  will compromise the product performance and may damage the unit.
