The Respicaire MoldMiser MAX™ is specifically engineered for furnaces and split systems. Third-party laboratory testing shows this technology achieves 99% inactivation of SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus, and adenovirus within seconds of exposure. This duct-mounted purifier operates continuously as air recirculates through your heating and cooling system, treating indoor air 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The system is CARB Certified & UL 2998 validated for zero ozone emissions. MAINTENANCE

The MoldMiser MAX™ requires regular lamp replacement to maintain optimal performance. Replace the UVC lamps annually to ensure peak performance. All genuine replacement lamps and parts are available through Respicaire’ s network of stocking HVAC Distributors and Contractors. If you’re unsure about finding a local distributor, contact Respicaire directly for assistance. Respicaire does not sell online and using 3rd party lamps will compromise the product performance and may damage the unit.

• How does the MoldMiser MAX™ actually reduce germs and viruses in my indoor air? The system uses powerful UVC light at 254 nanometers to damage the DNA of microorganisms. When this light hits bacteria, viruses, or mold spores, it breaks down their genetic material so they can’t reproduce or cause infections.
• Is the MoldMiser MAX™ safe and beneficial for my family and pets, and does it produce any ozone? Yes, the MoldMiser MAX is suitable for all residential applications and beneficial for people and pets. The system is CARB Certified and 3rd party UL 2998 validated for zero ozone emissions.  It does not produce ozone into indoor air you breathe.
• How often do I need to replace the UVC lamps, and can I use generic replacements? Respicaire air purifiers are serviced by installing contractors. Lamps should be replaced annually for the best performance. We recommend signing a service agreement with your contractor so only  original Respicaire replacement lamps are used. Any substitutes may damage your system and void warranty.
• Will the MoldMiser MAX™ work in my hot attic or garage where my HVAC unit is located? Yes, we offer the HT models designed for these high ambient locations. This special product model can handle temperatures up to, 221°F/ 105°C making it suitable for attic and garage installations.
