TECHNOLOGY

The Respicaire DTX MB™ Advanced Air Purifier uses a proprietary Tri-Process system to treat air inside commercial buildings. This unit installs inside commercial RTUs and AHUs up to 50 tons. They are suited for various sensitive spaces such as labs, brewing spaces, schools, offices, and daycares. The first process uses High Intensity UVC Germicidal wavelength technology. This works to inactivate airborne bacteria, viruses, molds, and other pathogens. The UVC rays also provide surface treatment for HVAC coils. Microorganisms cannot escape the potent UVC rays, which attack their DNA directly. The second process uses built-in Advanced Carbon Matrix Cells. These cells absorb airborne odors and gases as air passes through the unit. The dedicated advanced carbon media ensures maximum absorption performance. The third process is Photo-Catalytic Oxidation (PCO). The PCO Matrix creates multiple air cleansers that help oxidize and detox airborne VOCs and odors. This process also works on microorganisms for added protection. Third-party lab tests have shown 99% inactivation of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in seconds. This unique combination of three technologies enhances air purification by constantly treating indoor air as it recirculates through HVAC systems.
