TECHNOLOGY

The Respicaire Flush Mount SRF™ uses twin tube germicidal lamps that produce high-output UVC light at 254 nanometers wavelength. The system generates powerful ultraviolet light waves that break down the DNA structure of harmful microorganisms on contact. Third-party laboratory testing shows this technology achieves up to 99% inactivation of SARS-CoV-2, coronavirus, and adenovirus within seconds of exposure. The twin tube design doubles the UVC output compared to single lamp systems while maintaining an ozone-free operation safe for residential use. MAINTENANCE

Replace the UVC germicidal lamp once per year for best performance. The lamp continues to produce visible light after 12 months but loses its germicidal effectiveness over time. Annual replacement ensures your system maintains maximum purification power. The magnetic mounting system makes lamp changes quick and simple without special tools.

• How do I know if my UV light is still working properly? The remote ballast includes LED indicator lights that show when the system is operating. While the lamp may still glow after a year, its germ-killing power decreases, which is why annual replacement is  recommended.
