TECHNOLOGY
The Respicaire NPI i-Guard™ uses advanced needlepoint bi-polar ionization technology to improve your indoor air quality. This self-cleansing system works in both residential and commercial ducted applications. The unit creates positive and negative ions through its unique “Venturi Emission” system. These ions spread throughout your space to reduce odors, VOCs, particulates, and airborne microbes. The i-Guard™ produces over 1 million ions per cubic centimeter, making it one of the most powerful compact ducted NPI systems available. The ions work by causing airborne particles to stick together (agglomerate), making them easier to capture. The system also creates air cleansers, including hydrogen peroxide, hydroxyls, super ionized oxygen, and oxidizing ions. These migrate into your indoor spaces to help deactivate molds, mildew, bacteria, viruses, and spores. The unit features a watertight housing that operates at peak output. The Respicaire i-Guard™ requires virtually no maintenance. There are no replacement parts to change or filters to replace. We recommend an annual inspection of the needle posts. Simply wipe the posts with a soft cloth using a circular motion. This quick cleaning ensures optimal performance and consistent ion output year-round.
