TECHNOLOGY

The Respicaire OXY 4-MB™ is an Active Photo-Catalytic Air Purifier that uses technology originally developed by NASA. This system features the advanced OXY-QUAD™ Catalytic Chamber, which creates powerful air cleaning through photo-catalytic reactions. The unit uses ultraviolet light combined with a Titanium Dioxide Matrix to produce ionically charged airborne oxidizers. This catalytic reaction generates four natural oxidative cleansers: Hydro Peroxides, Hydroxyls, Superoxide Ions, and Oxidizing Ions. These cleansers actively circulate through your space to sanitize and purify indoor air. The OXY-QUAD™ chamber provides  the industry’s highest TiO2 surface area, which enhances the catalytic reactive processes. This large surface area enhances air cleansing providing an excellent performance value. The system has been tested and demonstrated to achieve 99% inactivation of Corona Virus, SARS-CoV-2, Adenovirus, and  other airborne pathogens.

MAINTENANCE

The OXY 4-MB™ requires annual lamp replacement to ensure effective air purification and optimal production of air cleansers. The genuine replacement lamps and parts are available through Respicaire’ s network of stocking HVAC Distributors and Contractors. Respicaire does not sell online and using 3rd party lamps will compromise the product performance and may damage the unit.
