TECHNOLOGY
The ECC™ 2″ Polarized Media Hybrid Air Cleaner from Respicaire is built for commercial RTUs and AHUs’s filter racks. This engineered and patented air cleaner uses electro-magnetic attraction to pull harmful particles from the air. The system achieves 95% efficiency on the most troublesome airborne contaminants. At the heart of this air cleaner is a patented Carbon Graphite (CG) charging system. This technology places a powerful electrical charge on the multi-layered certified media pads inside each unit. Once charged, these pads attract and hold airborne pollutants with 95% efficiency including particles as small as 0.3 microns. The ECC™ carries ASHRAE 52.2 certification with an ET MERV 13 rating. It also holds UL 2998 certification, which validates zero ozone emissions during operation. MAINTENANCE
The ECC™ 2″ Polarized Media Air Cleaner is a permanent air cleaning solution. The corrosion-resistant frame is built to last, while the multi-layered media pads inside the unit are replaceable. The original Respicaire media pads are available in bulk quantities to make the quarterly changeouts easy for the building maintenance department. Only the original Respicaire certified replacement pads should be used inside the ECC™ Air Cleaners. Using alternative 3rd party media can affect performance and damage the product. All genuine replacement lamps and parts are available through Respicaire’ s network of stocking HVAC Distributors and Contractors.
